Our story is rooted in California -- we were born there but our heart is wherever the sun is shining.

The watercolor illustrations were made exclusively for this
especial client ®.

KATWAI

The word "wai" comes from the Hawaiian language and means "water". Water is the beginning of all things. The element first. Everything is water. We are water. The term "kat" derives from "Catalina" which is my name. The fusion of my being with the water is the origin of this project.

IMy intention is to motivate these women of the sea to encourage more! That they feel comfortable and beautiful in the water, that they live a full experience where the energy is focused on fluidity, on fun, on skill... and not on whether something escapes you.

I am inspired by adventurous women who spend their days in the water, women of the sea. My main motivation is the search for a balance between comfort and style. Simple lines with a clear concept of functionality. I do not believe in the obsolete but rather in the timeless. That is why in each collection I re-invent the above, creating a chromatic cadence that broadens the combination of colors and patterns. I enjoy this entire creation process, from the design of prints to the challenge of finding the perfect fit in each model.

Less is more. The intimate moments you share with your Greenpacha, are intimate moments rooted in nature, values of fair trade, and slow fashion.
